TV personality, Minnie Dlamini is proudly not a virgin anymore. She has bravely confessed that it took her several years of trying before she was able to have se_x – because she was not ready.
Her 'virginity' scandal caused stir two-years ago when the proud Zulu girl celebrated a ceremony called uMhlonyane, which is usually done when a girl reaches puberty, to teach and advise her about womanhood. But a number of cultural experts came forward and criticised her for not following the correct procedures. They claimed that a spear such as the one Minnie was seen carrying in social media pictures is used for uMemulo, to signify that a girl is still a virgin.
“I didn’t understand why everyone else was on my case, it's like they knew i had se_x before but truth is i was still a virgin. Reason being that i was not ready for se_x nevertheless i didn't care what they said. My life, my decisions.”
Minnie said it was hard to be the only virgin in her group and believes her first time was compassionate, though it took long.
“I wasn’t successful at first but after two days and building so much trust with my man we managed to fully dilate and have full penetrative se_x. It was unimaginable and I have literally never looked back.”
One fan tweeted: It's sad that Itumeleng Khune wasn't the one to do the official opening.
