THE GROUP of people who were involved in a car accident with Tumi Morake in the North West have come forward with their own version of events and are demanding an apology from the comedian.
Nthabiseng Popela (32), who was driving, claimed Tumi caused the accident. Busi Mngomezulu (33) claimed Tumi and her family didn’t bother to ask if they were okay. “When they got to the hospital Tumi was laughing as if nothing had happened, yet we were injured,” claimed Busi.
Patricia Popela (33), one of the women who survived the crash, said Tumi, her husband and mother-in-law visited her in hospital after she came out of ICU.
“She asked if she could assist me with anything and I declined because I didn’t need any help.”
The women insisted all they wanted was for Tumi to apologise.
