Nasty C walked away as the night's biggest winner at the 16th annual Metro FM Awards on Saturday night in Durban, taking home four awards.

The Hell Naw hitmaker told fans that he didn't even expect to take home one gong, but instead he walked away with four awards including Best Hip Hop Album, Best Male Album, Best New Artist and the biggie, Song of the Year.

The Song of the Year winner is decided by the fans as voting lines were opened in the category.

PROTESTORS blocked several streets in Atteridgeville this morning, preventing residents from going to work, Gauteng cops said.

An Alberton man on the East Rand has died in hospital earlier today after was declared brain dead following a brutal attack.

Ludi Vink was attacked on Tuesday at about 11pm at Mitzy’s biker club in Randhart, Alberton Record reported.
